Outfit: Anglomania

(Finally wearing my Birthday buys, Vivienne Westwood Anglomania ‘Limpish’ coat and tartan trousers, Red Label ruffle shirt from last S/S and my VW tartan shoes which are getting over kill at the moment I know but I am obsessed with them!)

One of the best things about being a self-style blogger is that you get to stalk around random back allys, trying to get some variation into you photo’s. One of the worst things is that having to go any where in the car I always end up covered in dog hair and all creased up. But hey its all so you guys don’t have to see my brick wall again.

In fact I have been giving a lot of thought to the direction of my blog lately, so let me know what you think. Would you prefer fewer posts but with more details – outfit posts like this on location, rather than a quick daily snap in my garden?

  1. I’ve been thinking the same thing, perhaps its natural to wonder about how we do things once we have been doing it for a few years. I think we all love your brick wall, its the outfits not the backdrop that keep us interested. I guess “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” but I do get a feeling that things are changing, I certainly get less comments than I used to, although I have more followers, maybe the readership has changed, I really don’t know.

  2. Hi my dear-I agree with Mrs Fab, I would rather see more outfits against a brick wall than less outfits in different locations. What a fantastic outfit, those shoes are just awesome and your coat, trousers and blouse are gorgeous-a really fab outfit xxx

  4. i do envy bloggers who have a photographer with them 24-7 to document their every whim with amazing pictures but i can’t be fussy with location demands seeing as i am simply working with a self-timer in my spare bedroom. i agree with the other posters: id rather see more outfits in the garden rather than less outfits on location. after all, we’re tuning in to see your flair and style, not the backdrop.

and since i mentioned ‘flair’, i love the way you’re paired two different kinds of tartan, i never would have imagined it! x

  5. Ah, the location shoot. Can be the most incredible faff, especially if there is dog hair involved! I always love your outfits Pearl, whether they be against a garden wall or a green alley. You look like the spirit of Westwood present today! I am coveting the ruffles on your shirt. x

  6. I always love your outfit posts, Pearl! I don’t mind where you shoot your pictures, it’s the girl in the foreground that interests me most. x
