My love of Panache Lingere

Is it just me or do all party dresses seem to create a problem for underwear? Why do they all seem to have these crazy straps and fabrics that make your regular bra super visible! Carrie Bradshaw might have been able to pull of the bra on show look but it isn’t for me, so I have the festive joy of having to find a bra to match my dress. I hate shopping for undies, hate it. I find it so boring and so annoying trying things on, so what I usually do is once I know the size I need from a brand I just stock up online. My fancy pants come from Agent Provocateur but my every day brand is Panache. The Moulded T-shirt bra is my favourite bra ever, it is so comfy and you can wear it under pretty much everything without having to worry about it. It comes in standard black, white and beige, what more could a girl need. Well going back to the party dress bra situation I can’t tell you how made up I was to discover the Panache porcelain bra range has been extended. There is now a Strapless bra and a Plunge bra in the collection. With the addition of the Viva to offer the bra in a different fabric and with more colour options. This has made me very happy indeed. I have been taking a look around their website and discovered they also do this fun range called the Cleo which you can see here – as much as I am partial to a plain bra they don’t make for an exciting blog post! The Cleo range however comes in all sorts of colours and styles, I really liked the cute candy shoot. What I noticed even about the fancier ranges is that they all have the same classic fit, designed for comfort. I am feeling tempted to stray from my basics. Whether I can cope with the pressure of having to match my undies every day is anther story.

Review: Fauve Lingerie

Lingerie Please asked me if I would like to review any of their products, as I have previously enjoyed working with them I happily agreed. I chose this set ‘Mia’ by Fauve. The bras come in either a padded or unpadded style and the knickersoption a thong. This set caught my eye for the pretty black lace with the plum ribbon detailing. The set is beautifully made and has lovely details like the little bow and bead detailing on the front of both the bra and knickers, with one also hidden on the back of the knickers. The lingerie was a good fit, I would say the bra size are slightly on the generous side – fastening on the tightest clip for me. So if you are between sizes I would go for the smaller option. The cup fit was true to size. I find some lace underwear can be uncomfortable, but this was not one of them, the lace was very soft against the skin to wear. Fauve was not a brand I had been familiar with before but it is certainly one I will be coming back to again.

I really love to wear pretty underwear, I always find you feel confident even if you are wearing casual clothes over the top.Lingerie Please has some lovely undies, something to suit all price ranges and my favourite – back seemed stockings, I would really recommend checking them out.Pearl

Lingerie Please?

Lingerie Please sent me over some of the new range of Baci Lingerie to review. What I instantly loved about the Baci Lingerie was the fantastic way it was promoted both on the website and on the packaging. The models look wonderful and the Baroque settings add a real elegant vibe. You can’t really beat a lady in nipple tassles can you!
Leaving those for the models lets talk bras, I received a multi way bra. Now before I continue I received the products without knowing the prices, so was pleasantly surprised to find this lovely soft and well shaped bra costs only ┬ú8, or under the current promotion of 3 for ┬ú20. The cups were well moulded, the straps had plenty of adjustment room and all the stiches were neat – no bit to rub or dig in. In fact the only down side to the bras were that they only go up to a DD cup, however Lingerie Please do carry other ranges which go up to larger cups sizes so it is well worth a look.

Now something I do get over excited about is hoisery, as you know especially things with a back seam. I LOVE these nude hold ups with a fine back seam. They look beautiful on and feel very soft. These you have more chance of seeing me wearing than the undies and I am looking forwards to giving them a road test. The hold ups are a bargain at £3.
